The download is based on an existing source file. Etmap does not increase the original resolution or promise a format the source does not provide. Result links expire after ten minutes, and individual files are limited to 120 MB. Resolve the original URL again if a link expires. Source restrictions, rate limits and temporary outages can affect availability.
Saving a file and publishing it elsewhere are separate actions. You remain responsible for permission and for complying with copyright, attribution and platform terms. Etmap does not unlock private media or bypass access controls. Read our open-license guide and check the original source before reuse.
No. Etmap does not request an Instagram password, session cookie or login token. Content that requires login cannot be retrieved through this service.
No. Sources may block anonymous access, remove a file or apply restrictions. Etmap reports an unsuccessful request without producing a fake download result.

Downloads are streamed from the source to your device. Etmap does not create a permanent library of your media. Operational server logs are processed as described in the privacy policy.
A private post, incorrect link, source restriction or expired result can cause a failure. Read the troubleshooting guide before retrying.
